Vanuatu -TRBR Guideline for National Type Approval Framework & SRDs has been finalized

Vanuatu Authority, Telecommunications, Radiocommunications & Broadcasting Regulator (TRBR) published "General User Radio Licence (GURL) Guideline for National Type Approval Framework and Short-range Radiocommunications Devices (SRDs)" recently.

All SRDs that is intended to be imported into, or to be manufactured and to be used in Vanuatu, must be in compliance with this Guideline, which mostly adopts CE standards.

Radiocommunications device requires type approval in Vanuatu since January 1, 2019

Telecommunications, Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator (TRBR) of Vanuatu implemented “Type Approval and Conformity to Technical Standards Regulation No. 191 of 2018” (the “Regulation”) on January 1, 2019. 

According to this Regulation, radiocommunications devices imported into Vanuatu require type approval.
