Georgia will implement Technical Regulations on Radio Equipment on December 1, 2024
Georgian government adapted Resolution no. 161 “On the approval of the Technical Regulations on Radio Equipment” (the “Technical Regulations”), which will come into effect on December 1, 2024.
Based on the “Technical Regulations”, if a product has done conformity assessment according directive 2014/53/EU and EU standards, there is no need to undergo conformity assessment in Georgia again.
Declaration of Conformity prepared in accordance with EU Directive 2014/53/EU and its harmonized standards is acceptable. Manufacturer and importer should provide their names, registered trade name or Trade markand contact information on the product or on its packaging or in the accompanying documentation. The contact information must be made in Georgian.
