Senegal ARTP Updated SRD Regulation Senegal ARTP has updated its SRD regulations to cope with the increasing demand and operation of such equipment. The new regulation establishes a non-exhaustive list of SRD and defines the general condition of their usage, including frequency range, power limit and authorized applications. Although the SRD are license-free operable, they must be subject to prior Approval by ARTP. The major change is that UWB devices can be type approved now.

Senegal ARTP Enforces Label Requirement
Following its regulatory update of August 27, 2021, it is confirmed that Senegal ARTP is now enforcing the label requirements. Therefore, any approved equipment must be properly labeled before being imported and distributed in Senegal. However older approved equipment may be exempted from the labeling.The label is adjustable to the size of the equipment and can be placed
in the user's manual for tiny equipment.
