Korea allows additional purpose for use of 433.795-434.045MHz
The Ministry of Science and ICT of Korea recently updated the “Technical standards for radio equipment for radio stations that can be established without reporting” and allowed additional purpose of “notification” for use of 433.795 ∼434.045MHz.
Now this band is allowed for uses of "Tire air pressure alarm system for automobiles, opening/closing, notification, starting or parking systems of automobiles".
Authority’s notice about the change can be found here:

Changes to conformity assessment regulation in Korea
Korean Authority Radio Research Agency (RRA) recently issued the attached Notice no. 2023-6 bringing changes to the regulation of conformity assessment of broadcasting and communication equipment. According to this Notice, below changes are made:
1. Previously, when a new wireless function is added to wireless equipment that has undergone conformity assessment, a new application had to be made. But now it has been improved to that it can be applied through the change procedure. It means that only the added function should be tested and KC ID of this model won’t be changed.
2. More methods are allowed to display the year and month of manufacture. However, if the year and month of manufacture can’t be easily identified, this information must be separately indicated on the user manual, packaging, internet homepage, etc., or information to prove the year and month of manufacture must be provided.

Korea enforced new requirements to UWB technology applied in portable devices such as smartphones
Ministry of Science and ICT of Korea recently updated the “Technical standards for radio equipment for radio stations that can be established without reporting” with new requirements for UWB technology capable of low-power and ultra-precise sensing to be applied in portable devices such as smartphones for various services.
Wireless devices of wireless facilities for mobile communication and devices communicating with them shall satisfy the following conditions:
- Allowed frequency band: 6 GHz-8.8 GHz
- Do not emit radio waves unless requested by the user
- Automatically stop radio wave emission within 10 seconds if there is no transmission/reception after communication starts
- Wireless devices of wireless facilities for mobile communication shall have a function to stop radio wave emission in aircrafts and ships.
- The device that communicates with a wireless device of wireless facility for mobile communication shall not emit radio waves unless there is a request for
transmission.
- “Do not use on aircrafts or ships” must be indicated in user manuals, etc.
Other UWB applications are still allowed in 4.2-4.8GHz and 6-10.2GHz.

Korea allows object detection sensors in 70GHz
Ministry of Science and ICT of Korea recently updated the “Technical standards for radio equipment for radio stations that can be established without reporting” allowing object detection sensors in frequency band of 70GHz:
-Allowed frequency band: 76-81GHz
-Power limit: 100mW e.i.r.p.
-Uses in automobiles, aircraft, ships, and railroads are prohibited.
-Conformity assessment requirement: KC registration
Previously, “vehicular radar sensors for collision warning and avoidance” in 76-81GHz was already allowed with different technical requirements. KC certification is required for such equipment.
