TRA New RoHS Requirements for Telecom and /or Terminal equipment.
The TRA has recently announced a new Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliance requirement. Starting from 30th June 2020, all new Telecom and/or Terminal equipment subjected to the TRA type approval process must comply with the substance restriction requirements of the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Three (3) EU Directive 2017/2102.

Oman publishes new label requirement
1. Any equipment type approved on or after 24/06/2010, label is mandatory after 24/12/2010.
2. Any equipment type approved before 24/06/2010, you have a grace period up to 30/06/2011.
3. Any modules inside fitted systems requires no label .
4. If EUT is too small to be labeled, then the packing can be labeled. If packing labeling is impossible, user manual labeling can be requested, but must be explained at the time of submission.
