TDRA updated the telecom equipment conformity card (Type approval mark).

On January 02, 2023, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) updated the conformity card label requirement, the official announcement mentioned a new label format including the TDRA logo, the approval number, and the QR code that will lead to the page of the approved list.

According to the announcement, the telecom equipment suppliers must adhere to using the new label format, and the new label format is mandatory for the new/renewal certificated products starting from January 1st, 2023.

TDRA updates the Conformity Card label.

Recently, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) in UAE has updated the conformity card label requirement, the label layout with the TDRA logo instead of TRA.

Kindly note that the new label has been implemented for the new registered products since March 2022, and for the old products at the time of the renewal. Besides, a new regulation formally will be published for this new label implementation soon.
