RF & Telecom regulation TR 2018/024/BY of Belarus was updated on February 17, 2024


The Resolution No. 532 of Council of Ministers of Belarus came into effect on February 17, 2024 making amendments to Technical Regulation “Telecommunications. Security" (TR 2018/024/BY) including updated lists of products, which are subject to conformity assessment in form of mandatory CoC and DoC. Below items were added to the updated list of products, which are subject to conformity assessment in form of DoC: 

- Subscriber devices of the mobile telecommunication system of NB-IoT, New-Radio
- Fifth generation radio access technology (NR) and others.;
- Radio communications equipment related to short-range devices, including radio modules included in other equipment,
        operating in the frequency range from 25 MHz to 40 GHz. (The frequency range was 25MHz to 30GHz)


*Please note that “Short-range vehicular radars” in this frequency range are not exempted anymore. Regarding the content of user manual, letter trademarks, proper names, names of settlements and other names and details may be given in other languages. Units of measurement may be given using their international designation.

Regulation changes with conformity assessment procedures in Belarus.


The Resolution of the Council of Ministers of Belarus №270 dated April 29, 2022 “On the features of conformity assessment” was enforced on May 6, 2022.

Based on this Resolution, certain temporary measures are implemented for conformity assessment of products, which are imported and (or) put into circulation in Belarus only:


1.The validity of conformity assessment documents according to mandatoryrequirements (including EAEU CoC/DoC, Telecom CoC/DoC) which will expirebetween May 6, 2022and September 1, 2022will be extended for 12 monthswithout repeated conformity assessment nor inspection control for productsmanufactured or put into circulation in Belarus. Updated CoC/DoCwill be issuedbased on applications to the original Certification Bodies.


2.Spare parts (parts, assemblies and (or) blocks) intended for maintenance and(or) repair of finished products previously put into circulation in Belarus, as wellas components, raw materials or materials for production of products in Belaruscan be imported without conformity assessment documents.
