Singapore Authority Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) updated Technical Specification (TS) for Cellular Mobile Terminal (CMT) which came into effect on July 1, 2017.

Main changes in this update TS include:

(1)  Support LTE-Advanced TDD RIT (E-UTRA RAT).

(2)  Use of E-UTRA Band 38 and Band 40.

(3)  CMT safety testing to be performed to the IEC 60950-1 safety standard.
