Since January 1st 2017, AT (Agentschap Telecom) and ACM (the Authority for Consumers and Markets) had took over all tasks regarding type approval in the BES islands (Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba). Certain categories of license free wireless equipment will be exempted from type approval when they are certified by FCC or CE.
