The Comisión Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (CONATEL) of Paraguay published R.D. 1034/2025 and R.D. 1035/2025 on April 23, 2025, which allowed the usage of Wi-Fi 6E with frequency range 5925MHz - 6425MHz.The new regulations came into effect immediately upon publication.
Previously, Wi-Fi 6E was not allowed in Paraguay. For devices with function of Wi-Fi 6E, the manufacturers only applied for CONATEL certificates by disabling the Wi-Fi 6E bands. For the obtained certificates, we are waiting for the official documentation to ensure that the certificates’ updates will NOT be necessary, and the devices can operate with Wi-Fi 6E enabled within the frequency range 5925MHz - 6425MHz.
